Noticed my MY01 has got a very anoying rattle coming from the clutch when im in 3rd gear at around 3000 rpm. Car has just been to dealer for 10k service and they are replacing the flywheel and clutch assembly.

Has anybody else had this problem?

 

News to me Mate - mine has a slight transmission whine in second on the overrun, but I've not come across this one. Thankfully it's a warranty job!

 

My car also whines on the over run in second in fact second is the noisiest gear transmission wise.

I found Paul at Montys very good when I took mine in for its first service. I waited for it to be done in their reception area and he kept me informed all along. Service didn't take a minute over his estimated time either. Liked the "goody bag" they gave me as part of service too
