Does anyone have any experience with Easytrack track track days. They are running a day at Oulton Park on the 15th May and I am thinking about attending.

Any info would we welcome.

Done their Airfield days and they are excellent. I'd expect their marshalls at the airfield day will be different to the ones at Oulton so it's hard to make a true comparison.

What do i need to sort for one of these days, insurance, spare cars, wheels etc, do i need a special licence???

 

You don't need insurance to take part but I'd strongly suggest that you get some either on your road policy (unlikley) or a special policy. Easytrack do offer insurance to cover your car.

Your tyres will take a hammering but as long as they are have plenty of tread on beforehand, they will be OK after.

Your brakes, if they are standard, will die. At least get some uprated Pagid, mintex or ferodo pads.

No competition licence is needed as the days are non-competative .

A spare car would be loverly too!

Also change oil before hand and make sure it's full. Also keep above 1/2 tank petrol.
