Fuel Gauge red light

Hi,

Is there a red light alert on the classics / imports?

I've driven the car quite low but never seen a red light show up or see any signs of it on the dials

Didn't have one on my 93 wrx but have one on my 98 Type R

Ive had my Deutsch '99 2000 gauge pointing at the bottom line and no red light came on
