I'm new to this and I have just got myself my first scooby a 95 WRX STI 555 been driving it for a week and absolutely love it! So much fun to drive.

I dont have the best mechanical knowledge but I noticed a sort of scraping noise when changing gear and if I push the gear stick around in neutral when coasting with the clutch down it creates the noise when contacts the side of the box. (Sorry probably not the right way to explain it) Its a noticeable noise but not so loud I cant hear it with the window open for example.

The gearbox was rebuilt by pervious owner about 18 - 24 months ago and I have since topped up the box oil as it was a little low.

Please help scared of driving it at the moment as i dont want to do any more damage!
