I am coming round to a year of ownership on my impreza and looking to insure it for another year. Unfortunately (and yet fortunately because its more awesome than ever) my blobeye wrx turbo has been modified and I want to be covered. My renewal isn't until the 31st October (when i turn 22) but I need a price b4 then as naturally, alot of saving will need to be done before then! No-one seems to be able to give me anything until the 1st October which is no good as it gives me no time if its more than I expect. Anyone know anyone that can help? Sky insurance can't quote until I'm 23, Adrian Flux and Keith Michaels can't do anything until October....anyone else that might help? Thanks

 

Admiral will cover you as long as mods don't add more than 15% power
but it wont be cheap may be double what you payed last year(guess)

For me no one could beat Keith Michaels quote but think you need to be over 25

I think they messed it up.....I was quoted £2600 (and an additional £200 to put my dad on as he had 3 points) and I ended up paying £2000 with my dad on it, 6 months in I took business use off and got another £400 back so paid net £1600

 

try online quote with admiral change date of birth to make you 22 now, should give you an idea. You can correct your dob or not save it once youve seen the price

 

+1 what he said, just change your online quotes to make you 22 + the extra years NCB you will have, then you can get a rough idea of what you could end up paying come October

 

I'm with elephant, I'm 22, I pay £1000.1 for the last year, i added my mum and girlfriend to the policy which helped, wanted extra for dad?? Mine is a uk2000 turbo with exhaust and wheels decleared.
