Default help help boost probs

please shed some light< i have a scooby classic 1998 R-plate, the thing is i,m only boosting 5-6psi through all the gears. Ive checked for leaking vacuum pipes braks in the turbo hose, ive changed the boost solenoid which is a 2 port and i hear its supposed to make a large clinic noise when running but mine is quite quiet so could it be my solenoid is somehow bunged up and possibly be affecting the boost,, this is doing my head in please help pls pls help me

run a pipe from the actuator to the turbo, elliminating the boost solenoid, see if it boosts any higher on actuator pressure, not sure what your should be, wouldnt think much more tbf.

Sounds like the boost poll could be missing or it's pipes up wrongly which is very common if your local enough and free pop down we gladly take a look over for you
