Angry anyone like to enlighten me

i have an 02 b4 legacy, at 1st had no problems, i have since had problems with overheating and water not circulating properly, i fill the radiator to the top then wen i get to a big hill and give her **** the water overflows from the excess/ reserve container and is not going back through, car has had new radiator oxy sensors and thermostat done, i am at my wits end trying to get this fixed, and alomost on e in the cash department.. if anyone has all the knowledge i require please help me out.

Did the problem arise before of after the new rad was fitted? If after it could be something as simple as an airlock if before then sounds like headgasket issue im afraid.

Sounds like headgaskets I'm afraid.

start with basics, get a sniff test done at a garage or get a kit from a motor factors, cost about £15-20.00. It might be that the damage is already done to the heads/gaskets. H/g failure is usually the result of overheating, not the cause.

If this is ok then i would replace the coolant filler cap with a brand new item. The springs can weaken and not pressurise the system properly. Also check all hoses and clips to see they are ok.

i am in new zealand, i dont think alot of peaple here have full understanding of subarus and how things work so i found this site and decided to start getting some advise..

Pointless spending any money until you have ruled out the HG
