As I'm about to become a first-time owner of a classic Impreza - a 1999 2.0 non-turbo GL, I figure I'm going to have a lot of questions in the coming months.

So as not to litter the forum with a new thread each time I want to know something I decided to start a new thread that would just have those questions added and keep the littering to a minimum. I hope that's not a problem.

Anyway, my first question is the following:
what is the difference between the GL and the STi rear lights of classic Imprezas? From what I can see they look about the same?

STI is clear at the bottom whereas yours are orange.

not going to get too technical so heres the long and short of it- sti rear lights look great all other style scooby rear lights look ****
