hks ssqv circlip advise

Default hks ssqv circlip advise

was just out in car went to boost i thought i blew a hose off but i blown the hks off the adaptor how best way get back in so tight?

also for now can i run dv less on a sc 40 billet turbo for now? any advise be great

also bit of oil around it to in the hose that comes off for dv that normal?

Oil would be caused by oil blow by in the intercooler pipes which is normal. Really & truely you need to put the HKS SSQV on a vice & use a C clip plier to get it back in properly.

has anyone ever put one of them circlips in there so tight how the hell did boost blow it off lol.

cheers kas just gonna run dvless till i can get it in to a vice ect

Wasnt fitted on properly thats why. Probably sitting on the edge of the adapter. Use a C clip plier & push it in with a flat head screwdriver.

My c clip had a slight shamfer on one edge,I think it was to the top but not 100 percent.

been trying for last hour no luck. my c pliers are crap. i had to do a tesco run i did it dvless it felt bit slower maybe less agressive on gearchanges ect. but it was boosting at 1.5 as normal and flying through the gears so ov still quick but alot smoother any ideas why so diff? lol im so bad at explaining lol
