Do I need a gasket!?

Hi

I want to put a standard Dump valve back on my bugeye and remove the one the previous owner put on. I've noticed there is no gasket between that and the intercooler does it need one?

There should be one - you could risk instant gasket or get some gasket paper and make your own but I'm sure plenty of subaru specialists have the gaskets in stock.
