Buy 5 Litres, enough to fill it up with some left over to top up should you need to

 

Thanks for the reply, I bought 5 litres and was hoping there was enough for the rear diff aswell

 

Unlikely What rear diff is it ? better off with a nice Motul 90. I run Redline in the box and Motul 90 in the diff and it's sweet

 

I'm not sure wether it's an r180 or r160 3.54 diff.
The gearbox number is TY856WN6KA if that helps?

 

5 litres is enough to do both the gearbox and diff unless you overfill the box, I ran millers 75w90 in my box and diff at over 500bhp no issue

 

Cheers for that, what is the capacity of the box and could someone tell me what rear diff I actually have? Is it am r180 as I didn't have to change the shafts when fitting it to my sti type r which has am r180 diff?

Also noticed when fitting the box it looks like there are two drain plugs, is this correct and if so do I drain from both?

Box is about 3.5 litres and sounds like you have an R180 3.54 rear diff

Drain it from the one at front dont need to do it from both
