Default No take off turbo inlet hose advice (pics)

Ive now Set up the catch tank system but I'm left with 1 hose that I believe comes from the boost soli and goes to the top front of the oe turbo inlet hose ( large nipple on top front)
Obviously as I have removed the oe inlet I don't have a take off for it and was wondering what I'm suppose to do with it.

In the pic this is the hose I need to no what to do with & below is where it comes from...

Many thanks

Yeah, I believe that's the vac feed to the 2-port BCS's PES (pressure exchange solenoid).

If there's no suitable nipple on your new silicone turbo hose, then you'll need to contrive some kind of take-off off of the inlet manifold.

I stand to be corrected though.

You can T-off from one of those vac lines - but use either the one for the dump valve or a boost gauge (if fitted). You just need a suitable sized plastic 3/4mm dia. T-piece (and therefore do away with that larger rubber pipe that links the vac hose to the old turbo pipe's nipple)...

I have a couple I don't need - I could always post them to you (but they're cheap as hell; and you can get them from the like of Halfords, etc...)

Thing is, I'd rather you sort a take off on the turbo hose, as the pressure in there will be different (greater) than in the IM - as it's the raw pressure straight out of the turbo i.e. therefore you'll be keeping everything 'like for like'.

Whether it makes a difference though, not sure.

Cant use a take off on the turbo inlet hose as there are none .... Liking the idea of t piece off the dump valve, but like u say there are gonna be different pressures involved..

Thanks for the offer of the t piece I will prob just pop to halfords see what they got cheers though

Any1 else have this set up ???

personally i would try to botch a take off from your airbox/induction kit, as far as im aware its just there to read the intake pressure/ suction. with the 3 ports the bottom hose can be left disconneted but im not sure this can be done with the 2 ports

The pipe needs to be piped in after the MAF but before the turbo, the BCS bleeds unwanted air to the pipe in question, if it goes before then it will not boost the correctly.

Call demon tweaks they do a range of alloy take off pipes which are fitted to a drilled hole in the inlet pipe. I used one on mine worked brilliantly & looks original.

This is the kind of solution I had in mind, in post # 5.

Then you'll be sorted.

Either that or get a reducer to take you from the large dumpvalve take off down to small vacuum size?

That hose is the vent to atmosphere from the boost solenoid. you can leave it disconnected.

Take off adapter for samco inlet hose. They will know what it is. If you get stuck let me know I'll get a part No from my catalog at work tomorrow, but you need to measure the internal diameter of the pipe to go on to it.
