Default 6 speed conversion, master cylinder question

Hi,

I've had a 6 speed conversion done on my 2002 Bug WRX - is there any advantage to changing the master cylinder for the clutch as well - Clutch is an AP racing Organic and does feel relatively heavy compared to the uprated Exedy 5 speed before.

The master cylinder on your car will be fine. There is no need to change it.

Are the 5 and 6 speed cylinders the same on a 2002 then?
