Abs diagnostic, urgent as inspection next week!!
Hi!
Firstly I have used search, on scoobynet google etc. (and found some answers too)
My car is a 94 JDM Wrx.
So, the ABS light is on and I am going to do the diagnostic thing myself to find out what is wrong.
I read on Slipstreams ABS manual that :
• Remove the small kick panel on the lower driver’s door A-pillar.
• Enter ABS system diagnostic mode by jumpering terminal L in the ABS
check connector to body ground. Check the schematic in the service manual
to identify terminal L.
Note: Some models have a grounding lead attached to the check connector.
And by using the service manual, I found out that the abs check connector is a black connector, code b75. But I cant seem to find it.
Could someone post some pictures witch plugs I need to attach?
ps. connecting these black ones http://i726.photobucket.com/albums/w...onnector-1.gif did not do anything
Thanks
James

Where abouts is that mate, cant really understand these wiring diagrams and such.. Not i have not been blessed with brains!
Try it, iv never had to do mine. I think the module is under the bonnet where the pump is. I might be wrong. I had mine read at a dealer for free!! There are loads of posts about abs code retrieval but not many answers.

Found the 2 cables
Put them into the wrong holes, something that looked like the connector that was described.
boom, the wires caught fire.. gladly it did not burn too much, the other diag terminals rubber thing melted though..
So, wrong connector i guess, poor lighting and coldness can make you do silly stuff..
Put them into a small B51 named connector what says its got something to do with the abs, and then i got the abs thing flashing
Got 1 1 second flash, then it turned off and then back on again and stayed on..
Any idea what that means?
