stick with Tescos momentum Jimmy. Only Vpower and Momentum are good enough for an Impreza, the rest are 97 octane. The car will perform best on the better fuel.

Millers 10w 50 is a popular choice for oil. I'm using Mobil 1 10w 60 as my engine has done 90,000 miles.

Cheers for that hamster. I can get Mobil oil cheap from my brother. I thought someone was pulling my bits when advised to use tesco. !! I've been putting in cheap stuff up until last week !! No wonder the car is running lean !!! Also when I get it re mapped on Wednesday I was told I can get it done for 95 Ron and 99 ??

Don't use anymore non super (ideally only use Tesco momentum 99 or vpower) as it can cause damage to the engine (detonation).

You can have your car mapped for normal grade 95 ron fuel though which would be safe to do once mapped for it.

remember that you're likely to lose 5-10% power if you have it mapped on 95 compared to Vpower.

Someone posted a 17bhp loss from 95 to 99 recently on a 300bhp car.
