I bought a 6 inch TV screen for my Car at Halfords.
I found that it has been damaged somehow and now doesn't work.
I have spoken and sent the screen back to Halfords and they replied that they won't replace the screen as it has been dropped or damaged.
I was very upset with this and went to the Manufacture and they told me the same, it is not covered under the Warranty.
The Screen has not been dropped to my knowledge and I recall an incident where someone had left the plastic on the screen and it messed up the screen. The plastic covering was left on my screen and I explained this to them and they told me it would not damaged the screen.
Has anybody had similar problems with there TV screens?
or any advice what I should do?
Thanks
David

How do you mean its been damaged somehow and now doesn't work
Did it ever work? Did you get it home unbox it and find was damaged when you opened it or something?

Cheers guys Thanks for your Help. I will speak to the CAB tomorrow and ask them what can I do.
I bought in May and took it to Run to the Sun with my PS2 and it was working OK and even Bolney this year it was ok.
When I finished using the screen I would put it back the box and take it indoors, Too many theives and vandals in Croydon for my Liking.
I found it in the box with a blotch on the screen last month so I took it back to Halfords and they sent it to the Manufacturers.
The manufacturers reply was the repair require to fix it is not covered under the warranty.
