Default Clutch Advice Plz

hi guys need some advice here i have just done my clutch on my96 classic impreza turbo i put an ap racing cluch in it the flywheel is lightened and balanced, the one that came out was a borg and beck d01517 b20h11 the garage that done the job last time took an sti racing clutch out it and said they could not fit an ordinary clutch it has to be another racing clutch and charged me accordingly, so my question is the borg and beck clutch they fitted is it a racing clutch does not look like one and it did not last long in the car.

help please

Borg and Beck don't make uprated or racing clutches to my knowledge.
