) are just rebranded items(with "new" nice shiny logo)!And RCM test individually every pump,i don't believe in this,its just nice word,but truth is same like with everyone Fuel Pump
I've run eBay Walbro pump on 350bhp without the problem,i'm not telling are OK,just mine 2 pence

I know people like to go with 'branded' items as it gives them some kind of piece of mind, and in some instances branded items are better in quality than non branded ones.
In this instance, we buy our fuel pumps directly from the manufacturer that makes the 'branded' items, but pay a lot less as we don't require them to be painted or inscribed with our logo. Hence we can sell them cheaper than everyone else.
We have sold over 300 pumps without a single failure to date!

i dont know any tuner that does sell a rebranded item.
That's because they know the customer would prefer a 'branded' item. My point is they are the same as the non branded ones, manufactured by the same people in the same factory with the same parts.
Until fairly recently there was only Walbro to choose from, so I guess people are just used to them.

yeah yeah, sorry wasn't having a go, was just saying that every single tuner is in the same boat.
brakes disc have always been a classic one, several big brands come off the same production line and just have a different stamp on them, so a tuner just goes direct to the factory for it and sell it as there own.
Yeah, the same with brake pads, oil filters, timing belts... It happens all the time. Some aftermarket parts are definitely inferior to the OEM or branded performance parts, but not all of them!
Your right Antony, but once again my point is you are not 'skimping on it' if you are buying EXACTLY the same product, just in a different box with less frilly packaging!

its not skimping its just not paying the extra money that goes to the company you bought it from, they all come from the same place but then they are branded companies like walbro need to make money so they stick there name on and add £30 to price simple. same with tvs and everything else realy, tvs are built in the same factory then say 10 will go to toshiba and 10 will go to panasonic they will put there name on it and add another percentage to it, its not skimping if its the same product lol
