Default need some advice parts issue

Hey its my 2.0l gl (96) a dohc or a sohc? Its 16v so I would of thought its a twin but the part company I get parts off just sent me disks and pads that don't fit and they say that's the parts from a dohc. They've ordered the. Sohc stuff to see if that fits but I'm getting very f***ed off with this! Any help would b great!

Its twin-cam, you'd struggle to get overhead cams on a boxer engine!

would have thought since theres a single camshaft to each head being a n/a engine then would be classied as a sohc in that respect as the turbo engines have two cams per head. hope this helps.
