Hi Guys.
I recently purchased a hawkeye sti spec d and it has a red pipe coming from the turbo. i know on the previous models this meant it had been to prodrive ? is this standard on all hawkeye models or has it been to prodrive as i have no prodrive certificate or stickers anywhere?

no upgraded pipe with ppp on hawkeyes

 

Red pipe coming from the side of the turbo going to the underneath of the intercooler is standard on all newage sti`s, If it is coming from the turbo and goes under the inlet manifold towards the front of the car where it connects with the airbox, This would be a mod that the previous owner has had done, Gaz.

 

The pipe was replaced on WRX PPP only, not STi.

what back box has it got?

PPP on an STi hawkeye is trickier to spot if the certificate ins't included.
Was this Spec D sold as having PPP? You could always ring IM and check.

My Spec D has a PPP sticker on the drivers side door sill. It should also have the Prodrive back box? If you have got PPP - go and see JGM for a re-map
