Picked my 998 up on Saturday morning - fingers crossed for lots of dry sunny days.

Alomost makes the P1 sound quiet

MV4 - nice bike mate, with a great plate to match

Looked at one of those as well, but the Ducati was calling me, plus the Duke was slightly cheaper

Both the P1 & Duke are overrated and overpriced pieces of kit, FACT. Also, both flatter the driver/rider on the limit. If this is what you wanted then fine but i consider a sports car/bike to command a little imput from me. Now then, Andy's MV AGUSTA someone with taste!! .

Only my opinion by the way and not a show of jealousy. As for my current exotica, lets just say its red and has 12 pots of joy!!

Sell that P1 and i can forgive the Duke.

 

Or sell them both get a vfr 400 and never look back, no seriously dont look back, the thing is so small youll probaly topple off

 

Magic - as I have said before, it is all down to personal choice mate.

Mmmm....red and 12 pots of joy - probably couldn't afford one those if it is what I think it is - and if it's not a Ferrari, please tell. Not an old Jag is it?

As for flattering the driver, yeah probably; you can get away with alot in a 4WD car, but as for flattering the rider, have you ever ridden a 996 / 998 properly, not on the road?

Would be interested to see where it says the P1 and 998 are overated - over priced maybe, but so what.

I drive a topaz blue 3 series coupe. (Dads got an impreza but not im not insured on it...yet). Im in nottm during the day so sometimes see u round there. My numberplate says Ross afer the carful 'rounding off' of the fives. My mates got a ducati and has had carbon cans fitted. sounds awesome
