Question Hawkeye Wheels

I have searched and I am struggling to find a definative answer so hopefully someone can help.

I'm planning on getting a hawkeye STI in the very near future. I plan on putting 18" wheels on it and lower it on springs to begin with, then see where things go from there.

Anyway, what width would be the maximum I could fit and what offset should I be looking at. Rota Grids are high up my list of wheels to get.

I think the tyre size I need are 235/45, is this correct? And PCD would be 5*114.5? I don't want to do any arch work.

Finally, I should probably ask this in the suspension forum, but spring recommendations?

Thanks

I have 18" Rotas on my Hawkeye running 235/45-18 no problems. Mine were on a Classic which I think makes them the wrong offset but they look fine and dont rub. As for springs I'm on Prodrive, seems to give me a decent ride height without being too harsh on the potholes.

Thanks.

Have done a little more searching and for grids to look right I think the car would have to be dropped on coilovers.

So now thinking G Force might be the way to go with a 245/40 tyre. And I think 8.5" wide seems to be a good width. Still not sure what i need to do offset wise though.

Thanks will have a look. Once I have the car in my possesion I will definately give you a shout because you seem to be giving a lot of people a good deal.

If possible can you give me a price for the grids and tyres and also g force.

Thanks

If i was you i would go for coilovers, i had my rear shocks replaced under warranty and after 2500 miles they were gone again, i would get your local garage to check your shocks first before spending money on springs
