Default 2 pots conversion on a bugeye with single pot rears

hi as above im doing this as i write removed the single pots aa one is siezed one i know i need the conversion bracket to fit the caliper as holes do not align, but ive put the bigger discs on for the two pots and the stone guard fouls up, now what do people normally do bend out of way or remove as it's only spot welded on,or would it be cheaper to just buy some second hand hubs from a newage that has them, mine is a x reg bugeye but had the two pot front and single rear, ive changed the front to 4 pots now doing the rear any advise welcome steve

Remove it: drill out the spot welds with a sharp 8mm drill, wire brush the lot and touch up with Hammerite black.

The bloody things are a nuisance, they trap stones behind themselves........
