Cool Another Run Out On The 15th Of May...

How does everyone fancy going out for another run around South and Mid Wales on the 15th of May?

I've been contacted by a member from around the Big Smoke / Daarn Saaarf to see if we can organise another run the same as we did last year, obviously this is the day after the Welsh Warrior Festival / Japfest but I'm sure we can get another members out to make it worthwhile.

I think we will follow the same route roughly as last year's run but I'm open to suggestions on the route, times, stops etc.

It would be nice to see another mix of cars and you never know perhaps you might get overtaken by a mad biker pulling a wheelie down a country lane at around 135mph.

Here is the link to last year's run, which I hope those who took part enjoyed.

Well done Tyron!!! Bang me down on the list im keen, enjoyed last years mate but rekon we could have a slight detour coming back, was thinking after builth on the upper chapel road to spur off at cwmowen (concrete road) and out across the range ending up on Llywel straight (nr trecastle) via the german village perhaps? certain roads are closed on the range which we can avoid, and the roads i have in mind are ok for public vehicles to pass through. We could then go through sennybridge and turn up over the Rhiddins, bringing you out the top side of libanus, ideal for getting back to the start point of merthyr.
Just a thought mate, no worries if you dont fancy, if you do and fancy a dry run i can take you over one weekend if you like.

No problem Rob, there are a lot of roads around the ranges that I don't know and I would be happy for suggestions and a trip through Epynt is definitely worth while.

Well from brecon to meet the boys in merthyr, do the run and i peeled off on the horseshoe bend on the beacons back to brecon to finish i think it was around the 150 mile, you should manage it comfortably on a tank from merthyr, think i had just over a 1/4 left and it was quite a hard drive. If fuel is required thers a V-power fix in Builth...oh and a Burger King!
