Brake squealing

Brake squealing
Hi, I'm looking for some advice about brake squealing and what could cause this ..
A month ago I replaced my rear disc's ( standard oem) and pad's (EBC red stuff) I was careful to not over work them and allowed them to be bedded in with casual driving for 2 weeks.. During the 2 weeks there was an awful squeal being generated as the car slowed down and the brake pedal was pressed with normal pressure.
If I backed off or applied more pressure to the brakes the squeal would fade away.
I assumed this was all part of the bedding process. last week the squeal went and all seemed fine.. but for the last 2 days I can hear the squeal returning.
Sadly the fitters have now closed down so I have no come back, but they were a well known group who knew what they were doing.
Will this squeal go in time or is there a deeper issue that needs looking into.. Cheers

It could be caused by poor pad alignment, lack of tension springs, or even lack of grease on the rear of the pad.
You need to strip the offending brakes, thoroughly clean them, check for strange pad wear, and rebuild perfectly clean with all springs, clips etc in place and grease between piston and pad.
Be aware that small stones go between the disc and the disc protector behind the disc and can cause awful noises.
