Alright guys, i have just put a gearbox in a friends 1991 celica gt4 all good apart from the gearbox oil cooler pipes have corroded and have started to weep!

I was straight on phone to toyota only for them to say sorry we dont make these no more!

My question is can i bypass the gearbox rad and just run a length of hose up n down the front of the car in its place, my friends 65 so he wont be "booting it"

Im sure it will be sufficent enough but would like other peoples opinion!

 

Id imagine it would be fine but other option is to take whats left of pipes off and have likes of pirtek make new ones.
