Default calling all camcorder gurus...

hi every1,
i want to buy a hd camcorder for my wedding in june ne advice would be gr8ful budget up to 170 (cheaper the better) seen a few for 150 but dont no a gr8 deal about things like this thanks in advance

It looks like a decent bit of kit for the money. There is not a great variation in spec at around that price range and that particualr camera seems to do pretty much all that you are likely to want. I've had dealings with that company through buying a few cameras and accessories and aside from on one occasion having to buy an English manual for a camera which to be fair they did mention up front that it would be needed if one had no grasp of swahili I've had no issues with them.

I recently bought a Panasonic HDC-SD9 off of ebay for around your budget (second hand).

I looked into many different camcorders before deciding on the Panasonic. Youtube is an excellent resource for checking the quality before you buy.

I would rather buy second hand and get a better specced item than buy new. But I suppose thats down to you.

don't forget you need some good editing software - I've used imovie on the Mac a fair few times to great effect! Looks like a quality production!!
