Default driveshaft

hi im new on here and need HELP .i have a 96 wrx i dont have abs i bought a driveshaft and hub on ebay it came with an abs hub ,i called the supplier and he said the driveshaft is the same ?? the lad working on my car has cut the abs ring off the hub and fitted the whole lot .was ok for a wile now i have a grinding from that side wheel bearings ok have i got a duff drive shaft or is the whole thing a boddge ??oh and happy new year

Your supplier is correct, the shafts are the same weather you have abs or not.

As for the hub assay, the only difference between the two is the abs ring that is bolted to the flange assay for cars equiped with abs. You could have left it in place if you wished, but the fact that you have removed it would make no difference.

I'm not sure why you have a problem with that corner of the car, but it has nothing to do with the fact that you have fitted parts that were origonaly abs compatable.

thanx mate think it must be a dodgy shaft i got dont know what else it could be drives fine just grinding n tap tap tap only when warmed up and only when i turn wheel to the right no probs if jacked off ground .
