You need a decent amount of revs to pull away.
Classics used to suffer from clutch judder, easily solved by pulling away briskly at around 4 k. This got rid of the build up of accumulated clutch debris.
Failing that, your clutch/ flywheel might need skimming or replacing.

yeah i know to accelerate away abit more briskly than a stanard car but this is quite abit more noticeable than when i had my bugeye. fair enough if i have to do something with the clutch or flywheel thats what i will do. but i want to be really sure as if i end up doing that and it doesnt solve the problem is a fair bit of money spent for no reason and i gather it isnt cheap to change the clutch as it being 4wd

thanks for the advice so far tho people

Go somewhere quiet and launch it just the once, to clean up the clutch and flywheel...

i tried to launch the car from stand still tonight, as advised to clear any debis that may have been causing issues with the clutch. i think it may of helped but only slightly.

today was my first comute to work in the car and i have noticed that any take off at any lower 2000rpm and the car will judder. also i noticed it abit at low speeds when changing down into 1st/2nd.

im really confused about this?
really need help people

Doesn't sound like the normal associated judder that lots of subarus get, I would see a scooby specialist to check if something is not right.
