Could it be the cold?

I have a TOAD Alarm and immobilser fitted that works the C/L as well. It's now developed a fault which is winding me up. The Armed/Disarmed LED on the dash is not illuminating at all. But when you Disarm/arm using the fob the little green LED on the fob lights but **** all happens .

However, the key will open the doors, start the car and it will run fine. I have tried both fobs but the results are the same. The original installers is coming out to have a look as it's only been in since September.

Could I have done something stupid and pressed too many buttons at the same time? Surely the car should not start at all

Anyone help?
