hi, how do i remove the front wing markers on my bug eye, as i was thinking about replacing them with carbon ones

Tape around them with masking tape to protect the vehicle body.

Then slide an old credit card or similar down the sides of the markers. There are clips either side that are very tight. Push the card in the sides and give them a solid tug. They will come out but just be careful.

i know this is an old thread but just thought id add to it just incase anyone else is searching for a how to remove side markers,,as this is the thread i came across,,,,,,,,

i have a bugeye 01 plate and my side markers have a metal spring clip at the top & a groove at the bottom of the marker ,,,all i had to do is push the side marker up 3 or 4mm and pull the bottom out and the rest came out with ease,,,

 

They can be quite stiff and break fingernails.......use something like a piece of hard wood or a screwdriver wrapped in cloth if they won't budge with fingers

Can also be removed from inside the engine bay by getting at the back of them, found this way slightly easier.

 

Mine come out dead easy ? Pull up and out at the bottom.
