hi, how much power can a 2002 wrx standard intercooler handle ? im expecting about 330-340bhp wen it gets mapped , is it necessary to upgrade to sti top mount ? thanks

 

The Bug WRX intercooler suffers from quite a pressure drop

Just stick on an STi intercooler......forget about the splitter and scoop for now as it's airflow you need for the BHP, with winter coming you are in luck

The STi intercooler is one of Subaru's better efforts LOL

300 really is all you will get mate, i would upgrade to an sti top mount if i was you. (i did!!)

thought it was about 310-320 , ive got an sti uk300 cooler on the way
i paid £200 for it , thats not a bad price right ??

 

It's a fair price, as long as it's mint mate.
