For instance the dash in my car at the moment has adhesive on the top of it where someone has stuck a gauge pod to the dash and my spare dash has a couple of very small holes in it where someone has screwed a gauge pod to the dash

holes etc are not too much of a problem
i always tidy the dash up filling holes and repairing cracks etc before flocking
people don't realise how much prep is involved before you are in a position to apply the flock
flocking is great for dash boards that have been cracked or sustained some cosmetic damage, for instance i do a lot of early ford and vw cars that have all cracked from the sun
