Due to work commitments I have had to cancel the show on the 26th.
It would have been a harder decision to make had the interest been greater.

I dont believe it!!!
I changed the dates of my holiday abroard so I could go to this, when the girlfriend finds out she will kill me as we had to pay more money because the following week is the bank holiday / school holiday.

Sorry for being a bit thick,but was this the day out at the national motor musuem as advertised in true grip?If so,thats a shame,as i was intending to go to this but just had not got around to contacting anyone yet about details.If there are any more meets planned locally(i live in the salisbury area)are they generally posted on here or how do i find out about them?I have had my impreza for 2 yrs, but i am quite new to scoobynet but not to the sidc.

This is a shame - I was lookign forward to this. I know of a couple of others (non-Scooby owners) who were going to come along as well

I gather the actual day is still on (the 50th Anniversary)? If so, is there any reason why we can't still turn up, even though it is not being 'officially' organised by the SIDC? Just a thought, to save changing anyone's plans (again)...

I think you'll find that Beaulieu are haveing a celebration year, not just that day, I doubt if there will be anything special on if the booking they had has fallen through, I guess it might be worth mailing them direct and finding out that way.
I was going go too, I guess if more people had done something about getting tickets etc, it may not have bee called off.
