* * * * NEW-NEW-NEW * * * * Tolworth Meet - Now on Sunday April 7th * * * *
Location: The Charrington Bowl car park (the covered part) see: http://www.streetmap.co.uk/streetmap.dll?grid2map?x=519750&y=165750&zoom=1&is p=187&ism=500&arrow=y?105,99
for map of the area.
Date: April 7th
Time: 12.00 pm
Due to the confussion over the last meet, the Tolworth meet is now re-scheduled for the April 7th, the plan is to meet at The Charrington Bowl for general chat and bonnet lifting until 12.30 -12.45 then a drive down to Brighton for some grub and a meet with any Brighton scoobs. The route to brighton is to be confirmed, so any suggestion are welcome.
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: Due to recent threads on Scoobynet, I want to make it clear right from the start that if anyone particpating in this meet is intending to race, drive like an tw@t, or imply that such things are going to happen then, THEY ARE NOT WELCOME, we all know what our cars are capable of, so we don’t have to prove anything! I know I speak for the majority in saying that I hope that the recent bad feelings and arguments on this bbs are a thing of the past, so don’t bother posting message relating to pass incident on this tread.
We all enjoy putting our foot down at some point - thats why we drive scoobs and not lada’s, there’s a time and place for everything and this meet is not one of them!
All those who want a fun day see you on the 7th! everyones welcome from newbies to regulars!
Thanks
pete

Me and the wife'll try and get there, but if your going down to Brighton it might be better meeting you there. Got a wedding on the 6th.
Can you e-mail me your number so that I can see what your doing on Sunday. Couldn't make the last one due to emergency business call in Leeds of all places. Trained it and took 5hrs from Kings x to Leeds. Reckon about 15 minutes in the scoob
cheers

Lunchie,
Hope you can make it, you never know you may like it!
It would be nice to have a wagon turn up, it would be a first for the Tolworth meet.
thanks
