Default Fluid renewal

I'm looking to change all the oils. Is it as simple as drain and refill ?

If someone could inform me of which oils to use and volumes required.

75w90 GL5 spec oil for gearbox and diff.
Theres 2 bungs for each - one is a drain plug, the other is a level fill. You basically fill the diff on level ground until the oil flows out of the top whole - it is then at the correct level.

The gearbox has a dipstick to check the level, drain bung is underneath - fill up thru the dipstick hole.

Thumbs up Robin Longdon

I'm about to do the diff change and i'm using Millers competition nano'ed shock properties oil and I must say it's a magical oil especially since my sti spec c prodrive that sees some hard driving these days since a wholeload of newage impreza have appeared on the circuit here in Dundee, also I use the millers competition crx LS nt diff oil in the gearbox aswell as the millers CFS 5w40 competiton fully synthetic triple ester engine oil, yeah it's around 136 quid for the 5ltrs of the engine oil and the 5.4 ltrs for the whole trnsmission system..i've realised, if you challenge your impreza and want her to be at her pinacle almost everytime give her britains best home made lubricants. Give millers a call on 01565 653658 ask for the most enthusiastic guy you'll probably speak to in maintaining your beloved impreza...

I know this is an old post and probably too late but please don't put the Millers LS oils in synchro gearboxes, it'll knacker the synchros, it even gives you a clue on the bottle by telling you this.

The LS is to protect plated diffs and dog boxes. Just use the CRX NT not the LS.
