Set off to work this morning (as usual) when there was a single bang, after which it's now really difficult to change gear and the gearbox is is really stiff.

I suspect it might be the clutch thats about to go/gone but when I turned the engine off the clutch felt normal.

My car is a MY07 Hawkeye and wondered if anyone else has had this problem?

turn the engine off, try to select the gears if its still tight its in the box
