This started out as I could not get 6th gear I have been driving the car to try to find someone to help me with getting this fixed at the best price as you do. I have been told 3 diffrent things that it could be and now to top it off all gears have gone down apart from 2nd . It is a 1999 t reg 20l turbo uk waggon. Is there anyone who has a box for sale or could this be fixed with parts, PLEASE HELP asap.

that gearbox code should be a 5 speed? Selector fork breaking is common so that could be it. Have a look on gears website they do uprated parts

Where are you based? There's an excellent value box in the For Sale section on here, if you can get to London or sort out your own courier:
Classic Gearbox + Diff TY754VN1AA

Thank you markjmd I am going to get the box looked at tomorrow as I have had a chat with a guy called andy what a ace guy from gears what company picks up phone on a sunday well he did and was very helpfull. He has told me to have a look inside the box first to see if the nut has came lose on 5th gear because when gears went down there was no noise so I'm hoping this is good news and it's all down to this 5th gear. When I get the bit off to see and 5th gear does not move then yep I will have to have this from you but fingers crossed that the 5th gear is lose and can be sorted and dont cost me but with me luck it wont go that way lol.
When this is sorted I will be selling the car and getting new one as this has put me off a bit.
Thank you again to all have help out there still is nice people in this world we call home.

You can get to the offending nut by just removing the transfer case, it is a known fault but normally when it runs loose there isnt much left, I have seen the result. I still have the gearset if you need it but to be honest the box and diff on offer to you from markjmd is a bargain and would be a good quick fix. If you do still need the gearset drop me a PM.
