Yes.

What extra parts you need depends on the box you have though.

I fitted a 2006 wrx box and needed,

Stub shafts and seals
Clutch
Slave cylinder, as the box is a "push" clutch instead of the std "pull"
Slave cylinder flexi

As 172 sport says, Yep.
It will go in.

Now, if you are looking for the convesion, I have one

Hawkeye 5 speed std gear box,
Craddle for gearbox.
prop shaft,
stub shafts,
Uprated light flywheel, 50 miles on it.
6 paddle clutch. 0 mile on it. (NEW)
the push style clutch that you would require. 5 0miles on it
A short shift gear lever for this gearbox.
If you want a front platted Diff I have one of these for this gearbox.
if you require a rear platted diff @ 4.111, I have one of them too.

If you have every thing, good look, it will be a great box upto 350 bhp.

The Clutch will cope with anything the gearbox can.

The dIffs are TITAN tarmac diffs.
made for wrx hawkeye not sti hawkeye,
so they are like findin hens teath.
the front diff is just the diff, £450.00
the rear diff is built id a wrx hawkeye case, £450 these only have 50 miles on them, NEW

They were on of the things that helped me get 3rd priveteers modified scoobysprint 2008. running 300 BHP

TITAN have also put a garentee on them.

Drive shafts,,,,2006...I think

Hawkeye 5 speed gearbox........................................£40 0.00
Short shifter gear lever............................................. £30.00
Prop shaft............................................. .................£40.00
Front Plated diff.............................................. .......£450.00.....these ar over £1000 new
Rear Plated diff.............................................. ........£450.00.....these are over £1000 new
Lightweight fly wheel, push clutch, 6 paddle clutch......£350.00.....these are £800 new
Craddle for gearbox........................................... .....£0.0 with gearbox
Stub shafts for gearbox........................................... £0.0 with gearbox

The gearbox should fit in, but you will defo require a push style clutch for the hawkeye box, the gear box does have std diffs in it. The cutch I am selling only has 50 miles in it, the 6 paddle plate is brand new.
There will be something else you will require, there always is. but that is most of the conversion,

I am open to offers on the lot.

wrchammy.
I know it is the more expensive way to go,,6 speed. if you want to go any further power wise with the engine, you have defo got a gearbox that will cope with it.
the 5 speed limits you to 350bhp. they are good if you want to keep a very lightweight car with just 300bhp.

good look with the 6 speed convesion bud. there will be other items you will have to buy, there always is.
