Default will this gearbox fit help

got a 93 wrx my gearbox gone big time,my code is ty752vb3aa will this box fit its a turbo 2000 1995 gearbox code is ty752vn3ba or will i need the diff aswell.been told as long as first and final drive ratio's are same it will fit ive been on here and looked on ratio's codes and the 1st and final are same so it sud fit?,but ive heard the turbo 2000 wont fit.i only had the car 3 days b4 box went so gutted big time.any info wud be great

It should fit no problem.

It will give you a higher top speed though.

Another option is to fit a ty755vn1aa from a Forester Turbo, that has ratios the same as original.
I have one with a slightly noisy first gear.
