Default ECU RESET

Hi guys, just wanted a bit of advice. My car has been remapped using ecutek and the engine light came on whilst i was on the motorway and went out after a few seconds, the questions is if i read the trouble code/s and reset the ecu will it reset the ecu to standard factory and will i loose the remap? All advice much appreciated. Thank you.

The remap will remain after you reset the ECU. As you drive the car it will learn minor refinements for fuel quality and so on, all of that learning will be reset and the parameters will be exactly as it was after you had it remapped.
