I would like to upgrade my exhaust

What options do I have ?

I wasn't thinking of replacing the whole exhaust though.

Also, I don't want to invalidate my warranty or want any increases in insurance (if that is possible).

Most upgrades will incur an insurance increase unless your insurance company are in a good mood. Your warranty shouldnt be affected as your only replacing the backbox.

The most popular choices seem to be the Magnex Oval which matches the P1 styling well, the scoobysport for extra growl or the HKS Hiper if you want to stand out. See below for a pic of the Magnex, its about 2/3 of the way down.
