Be very flexible with the price, 1k more gets you a year newer and 16k less on the clock
and your hitting MY05 territory there too, but it will depend on the buyer
Also I would suggest you put down about any remap for the decat you have, or put the sports cat back on, they do go pop on full decats, not good for you or the new buyer!

Nice car and decent enough advert. I agree that the price is possibly a bit optimistic given age and mileage. However, if you have scope to be flexible, I'm sure it will go. Be patient, took me a couple of months to sell my car earlier this year via PH and it was an immaculate very low mileage 06 STi that eventually went for about £4k more than your asking. There are genuine buyers out there still, but a shed load of chancers and time wasters too.
I don't want to sound like a broken record, but I think you are asking too much. I can point out at least 2 (maybe more) with less on the clock and at least £700 cheaper, one is £1100 cheaper (with 30k-odd on the clock!).
I know you don't want to hear it but if you want to sell I think you should re-price around £7.8k - £8k.

Brave man asking on here what people think of the advert!
I think its a good advert and the price is right compared with similar age/spec/condition examples. Only thing would add is the history main dealer, specialist or a mix?
Good luck with the sale (and why would anyone base your price on whatever the cheapest one advertised is, there is always a cheaper one advertised somewhere, and usually when you talk to them in more details you find out there is a reason for it).
you gets what you pay for, clearly there are cheap ones out there but there is a reason for that! It´s gotta be worth paying the extra grand for something that has been used half as much, or has got expensive mods which you would pay for later on with a standard car. I bought an o4 sti with 22000 onthe clock ppp 18inch pffs and tein superstreet for way less than 10!

Your advert is alright, the spelling & grammar could do with some attention, if you want to be **** (Personally, I won't contact a seller if they cannot spell or punctuate, snobbery? yes, but I cannot be bothered to deal with someone that can't be bothered to take the time over an advert selling something as expensive as a 10k car, it rings alarm bells as to the level of care they have shown the car)
Other than that it looks like a well looked after car, as Tony says, if you've had a remap, I would make it clear in the advert.
As for price, I recently bought an 06 plate Spec D Hawkeye STi, with 21k on the clock for 12k, full Subaru history & immaculate. I would say your car is a little bit over priced, maybe £8950 would be a better starting place, IMHO.
All the best with the sale

That depends on what it is, a UK turbo on an MY00 or a standard STI for instance on the same plate, 3.5k for the turbo, 4.5 for the STI, the rarer you go the more they are worth, so a type R will always pull more over a type RA due to the 2 door shell, yet the RA is worth say 1k more than a 4 door STI.
Trouble is with the new age is that there were no restrictions on imports like there were with the classics, think it was only around 1999 that they lifted them when the euro imports started flooding in to the market, this is why you see a MY02 JDM STI for 5.5k with low miles and a low mileage MY00 STI RA for similar cash, yet the MY02 is a better all round car, scary!

Car cost 25ish k new, after 3 years it has depreciated to 12.5k say (its average for a car to lose that much over 3 years btw), so after that it loses another 17% of its original value or say 10% per annum, so 4 years at 1250 quid = 5k or 7.5k, so 8.5 is a good price on a lower miileage car.

Advert looks good to me. It's worth what someone will pay for it, and if you get no response at £9200, its not worth that much. Simple. Market dictates value. I'd leave it at £9200, if you willing to flex a little it will sell, looks a very good example.

It's rare in the scoobynet general section
but you've had some good advice here. Personally, I'd price it at £9k and be willing to go as low as £8.5k - set yourself your own rock bottom price regardless.

if its any consolation, ive dealt with bobs-p1, i bought your gold brembos a couple of months ago!!!, he is a top fella, and the car is in very good nick and well owrth the price he is asking, especially with the extras like the k sports, i know these are new as i bought his brembos when he had them, max of 2 months old.
bob, dont worry about it, dont sell it for peanuts, and im sure will realise somewhee very close to that price.
good luck mate
