Default uk and wrx MY00 classic ratio's

I'm trying to confirm that my uk MY00 has a uk box in it. I need to replace it but obviously need to be sure i'm getting the right box. When i bought the car, the owner had taken it in px and told me it had a wrx box in it but when i mentioned the other stuff that would have had to be swapped he didn't know, so i took what he said with a pinch of salt.

The box in it does 125-130mph in 4th at 7k rpm. Now i think this is a uk box.
How different are the ratios on that year classic in a wrx?

sounds like a uk box. i never took it to 7k but know it will do over 100 in 4th. my dads 96 wrx does about 70 at around 3.5k in 5th so dont think it a jdm box

I know the earlier wrx boxes are quite a bit lower ratio'd but i don't know about the later ones. In 5th at just over 5k i'm doing 135mph
