Default Quick question: STI 5 & 6 Differences?

Hello there,

I cant find this on the search function, probably typing the wrong terms in.

I'm wondering if someone could tell me the differences between the sti 5 & 6?

I understand the 6 has electric folding mirrors & electric aerial?

cheers

I take it you mean the standard STI and not the RA or type R?
The difference is cosmetic.

There ya go

Nope, pretty much everything had folding electic mirrors from japan except some RA's, electric aerial was standard on v3 onwards for sure, v6 type R's had quick rack as standard over the V5's which had fast racks, some other differences (cosmetic), but engines are the same, you have to depress the clutch to start the car on a version 6 STI, you dont on the version 5 STI.
I should also mention that STI type R's and RA's had a pillar mounted manual aerial, type R's have electric folding mirrors.
