Default New turbos at Japfest!

Turbo Technics are sharing our stand this year, showing off the latest S206, shortly available with a BB core, plus the new T36 turbo, aimed at the 350/400 bhp range, so new it hasn't been named yet!
We have our demo car on display, plus Paul's excellent S206 equipped blobeye.
All welcome, see you there..

Plain oil bearing, doing the job really well, but you have to keep developing!

We haven't felt the need as yet. We have an STi Hatch waiting for one right now so we'll see what it's all about. Pound for Pound, we're doing pretty well as we are.

As usual, I'll find out when we get there! Normally we're right behind the garage.
Hopefully it won't be anywhere near those gits with stupid thumping bass kits.
This year, I'm taking side cutters...

What range of bhp is the S206 good for? Is it recommended for 2ltr or 2.5ltr?

We actually do two, one has a cut back turbine for more top end on 2.5's.
We find they are particularly good on the 2.1 strokers, giving nice road manners and 500 bhp.

We have several on 2 litre cars, much enjoyed by the owners. No one has described it as laggy, they have all commented favourably on the top end power to the red line. It certainly doesn't give anything away to any other bolt on turbo.

Decent top mount or front mount. Pump, injectors, choice of management. Header options wouldn't hurt. Usual stuff I suppose!
This core runs well over 400 when used on the Evo range, and I've no doubt it'll be very popular on the Impreza.

Under £700 for a turbo that could get you to 400bhp?!
Where do I sign up?
Although I'm not sure how my 62k miles blobeye wrx would cope!

any show special prices??

I want a Turbo that will give me approx 450 bhp on my JDM Version 7 STI.

Currently 2.0L but will stroke it to 2.1 at some point.

What is the powerband/rev range on the S206?

Check the graph on the "S206" thread!

On the other hand, take a look right here...

It's only the S206 that needs a downpipe, the new T36 is totally stock fitting.
We made the decision with the S206 that we would just go for the best possible design, rather than worry too much about that particular element of it. The results speak for themselves!
