You need a 75w-90 for the gearbox and diff and here are the ones we have.

http://www.opieoils.co.uk/c-673-75w-90.aspx

If you want to go for the best, the Millers CRX 75w-90 NT, Motul Gear 300, Silkolene Silktran Syn 5 and Millers TRX. The Castrol Syntrax, Motul Motylgear and Fuchs Gear Syn are all decent alternatives. The Syn 5 is ideal for the diff.

You don't need oil additives, good oils contain all they need anyway and the aftermarket additives can cause more harm than good.

hi oilman ,would one of the first four you mentioned be the best choice in my02 sti 6 speed gearbox ? if so then whats THE BEST one please ? has syntrax in at mo but not much difference to before i changed its oil,(bit notchy and stiff when cold, hard to go into 1st and 2nd when moving )i know these are most likely par for the course with 6 speed but would be nice if a better oil could improve it.thanks.

Millers is supposed to give very good results and the Gear 300, the Syn5 can sometimes cause the same issue so perhaps avoid that one.
