WRX 1994, where about is the front diff located, and the gearbox to check oil. thanks

 

Diff in front part of gearbox, were drive shafts come out. Dip stick for gearbox is near the drivers side of the top mount, you also fill it at the same point.

 

Could be silly question but when i fill up the gearbox oil will it also fill front diff or are they seprate.

 

Fills both mate buy yourself a small funnel to put in the top of the fill pipe and take it slow filling up. I usually over fill by about 10mm or so, they reckon it helps 3rd gear, no idea if it does. Having killed 5th gear 3 times I could do with a fix for that

 

Im looking now, can u see it from the top of the bonnet open? Or is it more viewable under car. If open bonnet where is it by. Im guessin 75w 90 oil. thanks

 

Found it, has no oil in it so what oil do i need and do i put it in the same hole.
