Just had a new alarm and imobliser fitted today and the CEL light came on when i picked it up. after reading the code which was P1518 which is starter switch circut low input ??. anyone had this before ? and how did u solve it ?.

Would expect that the fault is caused by something the alarm installer has done if it only started after your alarm was fitted.
