Question Anyone in Wilts/Glos/Berks with a PSI3 SECS monitor?

My PSI3 SECS monitor is playing up, and I really want to try and diagnose what's wrong.

Has anyone else in Swindon, or surrounding areas, got one and would be prepared to unplug / plug mine it, etc. so that I can try and diagnose whether it's the car/cable/monitor at fault?

I've gone as far as I can with my own diagnosis - and I think it's either the monitor gone faulty or the OBD port not sending the comms data required. However, I'd like to be able to determine one way or the other if possible.

Any help would be really appreciated....as this is the only thing on my 2003 car, with 21000 miles on it, that I've owned from new, that has gone wrong - and I'm really eager to get it back working again.

Thanks

DN

Anyone help at all?????

I'll open it up, as I'm happy to travel a bit, to include:

- Wiltshire
- Gloucestershire
- Berkshire

Surely someone in that area has a PSI3 monitor (ideally on a 2003+ STi but I wont be picky) and would be willing to help me?

I now know that I can get it fixed, if it is the monitor, but I'd just like to absolutely know that's where the problem lies - and it's not the cable or the car.

Thanks,

DN

I'd be happy to help (PSI3 on a 2003 WRX) but I'm in Watford which is a bit of a hike for you and am only free weekday evenings.

Thanks ahar - that may well be an option if I cant find anyone else locally.

I've owned my STi from new, in 2003, and it has only done 21000 miles since then - I think Watford would be the furthest it would ever have been!

Annoyingly, the only thing that has ever gone wrong on the car is this SECS monitor (not even a light bulb, and still on the original brake pads LOL!) - so I'm eager to test it and get it repaired if necessary.
